The Study of Friendship Communication Patterns

My team conducted a research study examining how different communication styles (in-person versus online) affect the quality and strength of friendships among college students. Utilizing an experimental and control group design, we analyzed key variables including self-disclosure, effort in maintaining friendships, and preferred communication methods. The study was administered through Qualtrics, allowing for efficient data collection and analysis. This project provided hands-on experience in survey design, experimental methodology, statistical interpretation, and the application of communication theory to real-world social dynamics.
